Portland House

State of Craft collaborated with David Chipperfield Architects on this prestigious redevelopment of Portland House to create the interiors for 206 prime residential units in Victoria, London.

The interior concept draws upon the timeless refinement of the grand London residence, combining ennobling materials such as oak, bronze and marble with a modern, yet crafted simplicity.

Bespoke framed joinery and metal and glass doors abstractly evoke the panelling of a traditional London home. A continuous herringbone parquetfloor adds to the sense of urban refinement, whilst elegantly accommodating the gentle radial curve of the architecture.
